Online tools:
Our website, belco.bm, is not only a wealth of information, but a quick source for many tools that you may find helpful.
Outage Map:
Our online outage map lets you know where we are experiencing outages, which is particularly helpful during a storm, and it shares a list of our upcoming planned outages as well.
Reporting:
While we aim to provide an uninterrupted power supply, sometimes weather, untrimmed trees and vehicle collisions cause interruptions. During storm-related outages, we request that customers do not report outages until we have publicly asked customers to do so. While waiting for this public call, customers can check our outage map to see restoration efforts.
During non-storm-related outages, customers are able to report outages via telephone:
CALL: 955
Street light outages and low wires may be reported via telephone or belco.bm:
CALL: 295-5111
While the maintenance of the buildings housing BELCO vaults on private property is the responsibility of the property owner, BELCO must be made immediately aware of faulty or damaged doors on those buildings as this can pose a very serious safety hazard.
Storms:
Safety during a storm is paramount. To learn more about how we prepare for a storm and to review our storm safety tips, check out our website.
