Janell Caines: Senior Cashier
Janell has worked in BELCO’s Customer Experience Department for five years and enjoys serving and Interacting with the customers on a one-on-one basis. She says she is inspired to learn more about BELCO every day and loves to be a part of the BELCO Family. She also feels she has grown professionally and personally while at the Company.
Janell believes the service and experience she provides to customers is one of her greatest assets. She also says she has never felt held back at BELCO by her gender. However, at another company she said she proved that she was just as capable as men and did an excellent job at warehouse management which made her feel very confident.
God and family are the most important things in Janell’s life and outside of work she makes sure to take “me time” and enjoys music and sports. She also says giving her heart to God opened a whole new life for her and she gives thanks every day.
As far as advice for other women looking for a career in customer experience, Janell says it is important to be confident and have a happy and positive attitude which will help you to thrive and get you through all situations. Over the next few years, she looks forward to remaining healthy and happy and to maintain and sustain her growth at BELCO.
