Gerald Saltus was awarded an ILM Level 3 Certificate. ILM Level 5 Certificates were awarded to Lacy Carter, Chad Brimmer, Willis Ming, Julian Marsh, Traymetri Wright and Shelton Thomas.
The ILM Leadership training programme is an internationally recognised programme in Leadership and Management that is facilitated by Management Solutions for employees that aspire to be and have been identified as having the attributes and potential to be the next generation of leaders within the organisation.
The programme took place over a nine-month period where the employees participated in face-to-face and distance learning on various leadership skills and qualities and had to implement these newly acquired skills into their everyday work functions and provide feedback on their impact within their team. The employees have described the programme as very enlightening, life changing, impactful within the workplace and transferrable to personal life situations.
The BELCO staff were presented with their certificates of completion in February by Jayne Burnes and Anna Mackenzie from Management Solutions. They were also required to provide short presentations on what they had learned, implemented, and intend to implement in the future.
BELCO President Wayne Caines said: “Congratulations to all our BELCO employees on achieving their ILM Certificates. BELCO is committed to developing the current and next generation of leaders within the organisation, having enrolled over 60 employees in the ILM training programme since 2021. I look forward to them putting their skills to use to benefit our Company operations and ultimately our customers.”
