We would like to advise the motoring public that the North Shore Road trench has reached the Store Hill Road junction. This trench will tie-Into the Store Hill Road trench and we are now starting to open pull holes every 800ft to pull cables through the newly placed conduit.
While this activity occurrs on Store Hill Road, the road will be closed between Thursday, February 23, 2023, and approximately mid-March. Once the work Is completed on Store Hill, we will proceed down Middle Road towards Whitney Institute and the BELCO substation. The work along Middle Road will only require a single lane closure until approximately Monday, April 3, 2023.
Work will take place between the hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm and traffic controls will be in place. Store Hill Road will be restricted to residential access only. Motorists are advised to take alternative routes along Middle Road and North Shore Road, using Barker’s Hill and/or Jennings Road to traverse between the two.
