As one of the Island's oldest and largest local companies, Bermuda Electric Light Company Limited (BELCO) takes seriously our responsibility to be an outstanding service provider, employer and corporate citizen.We fulfill our responsibility to our Island home in many ways, including through Corporate Contributions to community organisations.
Priority is given to registered not-for-profit organisations that benefit the community through initiatives related to the environment, health, safety, education, community development, family support and improving the economic well-being and quality of life for groups of people that represent the diversity of life on the Island.
BELCO's in-kind support may take any number of forms, including: providing electricity service, erecting utility poles, assigning bucket trucks to put up banners, etc., for important events that benefit the wider community.
